A 3-year-old girl was found alive and rescued by firemen after 15 hours trapped in the rubble of a building that collapsed in Wenzhou city, in east China’s Zhejiang Province. The little girl was discovered under the rubble protected in her dead parents’ arms, who had used their own bodies to shield their daughter from the falling debris. The girl was immeditaley rushed to hospital after being dug out and is recovering well.

The building collapse happened during the early hours on Monday when four five-story buildings caved in, leaving an undetermined number of residents buried under the rubble. The official death toll from the incident has so far reached 22, 6 injured. The rescue operation still continues and the reason of the collapse is still unknown.
