Last week, refugees were being carried in a convoy of buses from Syrian villages when a bomb hit it and killed 126 people. The explosion caused chaos all around and everyone tried to get away from the site.

At the same time, Abd Alkader Habak, a photographer and activist, who himself got knocked out for a few minutes from the explosion, put humanity above everything else.

Once Habak came to his senses, he started rescuing the injured instead of clicking pictures. Other photographers present at the site captured the heartbreaking images of the bombing and the brave act of Habak.

Habak’s brave act earned applause from all over the world.
