Former Bigg Boss contestant Pooja Mishra is not new to controversy. But this time it was more serious. While staff of a retail store in Delhi accused her of misbehaving and assaulting customers and staff, the Mumbai-based model said she had to pull out gun from her bag to save her after two men passed lewd comments and tried to molest her.
Media reports quoted her saying she had come to Delhi with her friends and visited a store near the Karolbag Metro Station where she was waiting for her turn at the billing counter. Two men passed lewd comments at her and tried to touch her inappropriately after which she pulled out a gun from her handbag. The miscreants fled the scene before the shop manager and other customers gathered.
Police were informed soon after and a case has been registered at the Rajendra Nagar police station. Police said they have identified the accused from CCTV footage and the model was asked to join the probe. However, no arrests have been made so far. Media reports said the weapon was not identified and she had been let off without any action.
