Four AIADMK members got injured as their dhotis caught fire while protesting against a political opponent of their leader and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayaalalithaa.
They staged a demonstration against Vijayakanth at Villupuram on Wednesday and demanded an apology from the actor-turned-politician for his remarks against AIADMK supremo Jayalalithaa. While burning his effigy, dhotis of a few protesters caught fire, leading to chaos.
