BJP MLA from Mira-Bhayander Narendra Mehta gifted his wife Suman a saffron Lamborghini that costs around Rs 5.5 crore on her birthday. On trial run, she lost control and rammed it into an auto rickshaw, smashing its headlights. However, she was fortunate to not hurt anyone.
Suman lost control while trying to take a turn and rammed it into a stationery auto parked outside a school, as per an eyewitness. While she was too scared to step out, her dear hubby rushed outside, hearing the commotion, and took control over the situation.

According to sources, the MLA compensated the auto driver and the matter was settled amicably. The car was not registered with the RTO and no case was filed, reports Hindustan Times.
As per Mehta, it was a minor incident and social media is blowing it out of proportion. “My wife has 18 years of experience and has driven an Audi and other imported cars. The car just touched front of the auto and it was not damaged. Road side mechanics cannot repair the car, which is currently parked in school premises,” he said.
