Kabali is an upcoming 2016 Indian Tamil action thriller film written and directed by Pa. Ranjith. The film stars Rajinikanth, Radhika Apte, Kishore, Kalaiyarasan, Dhansika, and Dinesh Ravi. Principal photography for the film began on 21 August 2015 in Chennai, while filming mostly occurred in Malaysia as well as Bangkok and Hong Kong.
The first teaser of the film kabali was released on May 1,2016 11AM. Within one hour of release, the teaser broke all the previous tamil movies record by reaching 1 Million views also reaching 5 Million views in less than 24 hours. 1970’s Rajni was brought back at the end of the teaser.
