A 22-year-old Delhi University student was severely injured when a light stand came crashing down on a group of performers during a college festival. The incident happened when a light stand collapsed on a group of stage performers during a fashion show at Deshbandhu College in south Delhi. One of the students suffered serious injuries on face and back after the light rig fell on him. He suffered a fracture in his left leg, dislocated a bone in his nose, and sustained injuries on his mouth and forehead. He is a second-year Commerce student in the college.
