Mohammed Azharuddin, a legendary name in Indian cricket, is no stranger to controversies. However, his name surfaced in media reports after a long time as there were rumours of Azhar marrying his long-time friend Shannon Marie as his third wife.
The former captain of Indian cricket team had divorced his first wife Naureen in 1996 and married actor-turned-model Sangeeta Bijlani. After 14 years of staying together, Bijlani and Azharuddin parted ways in 2010.
Meanwhile, Azharuddin has issued a statement to media saying the report of his marriage is baselsss and mischievous.
