Ayyub Faleh al-Rubaie, popularly known by his nom de guerre Abu Azrael (“Father of Azrael in Arabic”), is referred to as the “Angel of Death”. A commander of the Kataib al-Imam Ali, an Iraqi Shia militia group, Abu Azrael has killed more than 1500 ISIS terrorists so far.
He is mobilising forces to fight against the dreaded terrorist group ISIS of Bagdadi, with support from Shia dominated Iran. Abu Azrael has become an icon of resistance against ISIS in Iraq with a large following on social media. He says his motto is to wipe out ISIS from the earth.
