Footage of an Islamist jihadi getting blown up by an artillery shell in Syria is spreading fast on YouTube. The man was speaking to camera describing how his Islamist allied group Ajnad al-Sham had captured Tal Sukayk in the Hama countryside which is considered to a very strategic location for the rebels.
Dressed in combat gear, the bearded jihadi says, “Thank God, it turned out to be easier than we thought despite the fact that this position was very important” while he is it by a shell fired from a fighter jet. The clip gets quickly cut short when a massive explosion fatally hits both the fighter and his cameraman.
Screams of the fighters can be heard in the background. The jihadi was fighting against the Assad regime of Syria and Russian forces.
