A minor earthquake hit Delhi and adjoining areas on Saturday midnight with no damage reported. Tremors were felt for a few seconds around 1:40 a.m.. Media reports suggest the magnitude to be 3.0 on the Richter Scale.
The epicenter was Delhi-NCR region and the impact was slight, mentions Indian Meteorological Department website.

A Delhi Police snior official says no reports of damage have been reported till Saturday morning.
“Just checked from Emergency operation centre of Delhi as well as Police control room. No damage has been reported so far #Earthquake,” tweeted DCP North Delhi Madhur Verma.
