The Baroda cricketer Irfan Pathan married Safa Baig, a 21-year-old model from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, in a low key ceremony last Thursday.
The 31-year-old Irfan, hosted the wedding ceremony in Mecca. “Entering probably the most beautiful phase of my life.We both wish to thank everyone for your wishes & #blessings,” Irfan wrote in his Twitter account.
Apart from being a model, Safa is also a popoular nail artist and is working for a PR firm.
Irfan, who has played 120 ODIs, 29 Tests and 24 Twenty20Is for India, would only hope that his marriage life too brings him good luck.
