Samajwadi Party patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav is learnt to have formulated a four-point formula to end the feuding in his family between younger brother Shivpal Yadav and son Akhilesh Yadav.
1. Shivpal Yadav will get back his portfolios
2. Akhilesh will have a greater say in allotting party tickets in upcoming elections
3. Prajapati will be reinstated as Minister
4. Action will be taken against Amar Singh
However, the formula may not hold truce for long in the first political family in Uttar Pradesh as Shivpal says Amar Singh is not the problem and Akhilesh needs to understand that.
After meeting Mulayam on Friday, Shivpal told mediapersons that Akhilesh should learn something from him just like he learned from his elder brother Mulayam Singh Yadav in his early days in politics.
Just when party insiders were hopeful that the rift between the two warring factions were reconciling, Shivpal openly sided with Amar Singh and said that the RS member has no hand in the ongoing feud, adding party supremo Mulayam will announce his decision Saturday.
“I have told Neta ji what I had to tell him. Now, he will take a decision based on that tomorrow.”
Meanwhile, Akhilesh has reportedly laid down new rules. According to News18, the chief minister wants his post back as state party president and the responsibility to distribute party tickets in the upcoming Uttar Pradesh elections.
According to reports, Akhilesh has told his father that only when his demands are met, he will give Shivpal’s portfolios back to him and reinstate him as a minister.

Meanwhile, Mulayam told party workers on Friday that former Mines Minister Gayatri Prajapati will be reinstated in the government. Prajapati was sacked on Monday based on serious charges of patronising illegal mining and minting ill-gotten money.
"I will do everything to make my father happy," says Akhilesh Yadav to NDTV. Lo, ek aur mummy-papa wala neta.
