Almost four months after he posed for it, PM Narendra Modi finally joins other global leaders at the famous Madame Tussauds wax museum.
The wax doppelgänger of Prime Minister Modi is at display at three locations from Wednesday – Singapore, Hong Kong and Bangkok. And each figure cost 150,000 pounds (Rs 1.5 crore) to make.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi met his wax version which was dressed in white kurta and pyjama and cream ‘Modi jacket’ with hands folded in his trademark namaste, in New Delhi on Monday, before the wax model flies to London to be installed at the Madame Tussauds museum there and put at display from April 28.
“What can I say? As far as art is concerned, the Madame Tussauds team is exceptional at what they do. What Lord Brahma does normally is what the artists there are doing. Today, I had an opportunity as the prime servant of my people to meet my wax figure,” PM Modi said after the unusual meeting, reported NDTV.
