Dalip Singh Rana, a former WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) wrestler better known by his ring name ‘The Great Khali’, was seriously injured in a sporting event at Haldwani, Uttarakhand. He was hospitalised on Wednesday after being hit with chairs by three wrestlers in a promotional event. After getting injured, Khali was taken to the Intensive Care Unit of Brijlal Hospital. Doctors there confirmed that he had suffered head and back injuries.
The wrestler, who has appeared in four Hollywood and two Bollywood movies, was reportedly participating in the first event of ‘The Great Khali Wrestling Show’ at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium when he suffered the injuries. This is the video which was taken moments after the incident.
