A group of ice skaters in Sweden curl four exhausted wild boars to the shore on a lake south of Stockholm. They were helplessly struggling like Bambi, trying to escape from a small island in the middle of the lake where they probably would have run out of food.
At first, the vulnerable creatures were not too keen on being assisted and despite being completely exhausted from trying to escape the ice, hissed and tried to lunge at ice skaters. One of the group member then came up with an idea to transport the wild boars off the ice in a way that was safe for everyone involved.
Using their ice skating poles, the men gently pushed the animal across the frozen lake towards the bank.
