Rajasthan’s Nathu Singh turned a many heads at the Indian Premier League Auction 2016, when he fetched a whopping Rs. 3.2 crore – 32 times his base price. Nathu was snapped up by Mumbai Indians, after an intense bidding war with Delhi Daredevils and Royals Challengers Bangalore. The son of a factory worker, Nathu is considered as the fastest bowler in India at the moment. Nathu averages around 140 kmph in a spell and at times even touches 145 kmph – a thing that is not so common in India.
The spark has somehow been given the fuel. It is up to him now to burn bright.
