Kodinhi, a village in Malappuram district in Kerala, gained international attention following a survey that recorded unusually large number of twins. The village, with an area of four square km, has around 500 pairs of twins among a population of 20,000.
Though many studies are already done but no solid conclusion has been found yet and the reason behind the phenomenon could not be ascertained yet. However, with constant attention from international media and medical researchers, the twins of Kodinhi are struggling to keep their privacy.
