Delhi skipper Gautam Gambhir and his Bengal counterpart Manoj Tiwary were engaged in an ugly on-field battle and nearly came to blows during a Ranji Trophy match at the Feroz Shah Kotla stadium in Delhi on Saturday. Gambhir was so angry that he even pushed the umpire who was trying to pacify him. Pushing umpire is a serious offence in the gentleman’s game and Gambhir is likely to get a strict punishment including bans.
