New Delhi: Little did this 8-year-old boy know before writing a letter to the most powerful man of the nation that he would get a response so soon and assurance of action.
Abhinav, a class III student of Bengaluru, was hassled like most of the people living in the city due to frequent traffic jams. It takes 45 minutes for him to travel 3km from home to his school, thanks to an under-construction flyover over a railway crossing.
He wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi drawing his attention to how his studies and people’s health are getting affected due to this.
“It’s risky to travel through that road. I wrote to him (PM) because he is the highest authority and can solve any issue,” media reports quoted Abhinav saying ANI. He received a reply from PMO within two weeks, assuring appropriate action.
Now an ecstatic Abhinav hopes lives of his as well as many in the area will be easier soon. His parents are very proud of their son.
